So, it’s finally here: my 37th birthday; The only trouble is, that for an entire year, I was pretty sure that *THAT* had already happened Yeah, that’s right… this ENTIRE year I already thought I was 37… So, as luck would have it, except for the chagrin that accompanies said luck, I’m NOT getting older this year, just, presumably, wiser – ’cause today I actually DO know my age but ask me again next week, and I might be back to the funky math that lead to this fiasco anyway!

I SURE HOPE SO! Because I:

cut the knuckle on my lefthand ringfinger last Thursday while opening an umbrella.
got a HUGE splinter in my righthand thumb last night from a stool.
wrecked my lefthand index finger after ironing a shirt in my kitchen, going to put it on, and subsequently sticking my left hand into the ceiling fan in my kitchen.

So if things DON’T come in threes I’m moving into a padded room. But if they do than I might start to trust that my poor digits have seem the worst of it — especially since typing is currently NO FUN AT ALL.

I think this is clear evidence that both my pooches have the ability to use blinking lights hidden behind their eyes to get me to do their bidding.

I believe flashing green/blue means "time for treats" damn he’s good.
